Let’s be honest, we’ve not had a great time as a planet recently. It would be great if we could all take a little break from reality for a while and pretend it’s not happening. Movies are the perfect way of doing that and luckily for us, 2021 is bringing it’s A game when it comes to new movie releases! Roll on the line up…

Long anticipated, finally Scarlett Johansson has her own standalone Black Widow movie, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Set after 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War”, this film will see Natasha Romanoff on the run, confronting her dark past as a spy, long before she joined the Avengers.

Alongside Johansson, the film stars David Harbour, Florence Pugh and O-T Fagbenle.

On screens May 7th.

Disney are really spoiling us this year, bringing another of their incredible classic characters to life with a live-action rendition. This time we see the young Cruella De Vil played by Emma Stone set on a backdrop of the 1970’s London punk and fashion scene. The ‘101 Dalmatians’ villainess came to our screens in 1961 and now she is back, as spitefully glamorous as ever. The film also stars Emma Thompson, Joel Fry Paul, Walter Hauser and Mark Strong. On screens May 28th.

The ninth installment of the well loved franchise is coming and it will be as dramatic as ever, if not moreso. In this movie we meet Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) estranged brother Jakob played by none other than (recorders at the ready) John Cena! Jakob is one of the world’s most deadly assassins and a high performance driver who comes up against Dominics crew and family members. Oh, and one more thing, we might just be seeing the return of suspected, long dead crew member, Han Lue!
