Back in September, we shared the news of our new partnership with the Hero Indian Super League. Well, just as the eleven teams have been getting ready to return to the pitches in Goa, we’ve been busy behind the scenes, building some unique fan collectibles in time for the 2021–22 season. Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of the first NFTs (non-fungible tokens) in the Hero ISL Official Digital Collectibles series.
Whichever team you support, you’ll find a growing collection of digital items to bring you closer to your team in a whole new way. Whether you’re a fan of ATK Mohun Bagan, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United, Bengaluru FC, FC Goa, Hyderabad FC, Jamshedpur FC, Chennaiyin FC, East Bengal FC, Kerala Blasters or Odisha FC there will be a range of items for you!
And to celebrate the launch of the Hero ISL Official Digital Collectibles series, we are giving fans the chance to get their first Hero ISL collectible for FREE! Hero ISL Official Digital Collectibles – Team Posters
Every fan loves a good team poster, so this is where our collection starts. There’s a poster for each of the eleven teams, featuring the line-up from the 2020/21 season, the Club strip and logo, and a star player in a memorable moment.

Hero ISL Official Digital Collectibles – Trading Cards
Trading cards have to be one of the most fun and affordable sports collectibles of all time. Now we bring trading cards back to the future as unique NFTs. Each team’s trading-card collection brings four favourite players from across the history of the Hero ISL.
Here you can see an example of the four-card set for last season’s winning team, Mumbai City FC. Each team has four individual cards like these and each card comes in a range of rarities as listed below.

But… what’s a VFLECT, I hear you cry?! Let’s meet some now…
Our popular robot VFLECTS are native to Terra Virtua, where they can be found dressing up as a range of characters with a personality all of their own. Each limited edition VFLECT is a 3D-animated model with a number of characteristics that makes it stand out. You can view and rotate them around a full 360 degrees and watch them go through a range of motions. You can even interact with them via augmented reality using our app.

FAQs
An NFT is a digital item created (minted) in a way that makes every single one unique – so only you will ever own that exact item, unless you decide to sell it or give it to someone else. Your NFT is made unique through a special method of registration and tracking, which takes place on a cloud-based ledger (which is like a database) called a blockchain. NFTs can be minted in editions of varying numbers, from 1 to thousands, which gives them different levels of rarity.
When you buy an NFT on Terra Virtua, it’ll be stored in your Terra Virtua account, where you can interact with your NFT in various ways (depending on how it was created, and the rights given to you in the contract that your NFT comes with). Windows PC users can store and showcase their NFTs in special virtual spaces that we call the Fancave, Terradome, and Art Gallery – and Android users can bring their NFTs to life in augmented reality (AR) through our mobile app.

This can happen, especially with our limited editions. NFTs are a fun new way to collect things that you’re passionate about, but they are very popular and can sell out quickly.
If you manage to buy an NFT when it first drops, you’ll get that NFT at its original mint price – but when it sells out, it’s gone, and this is where auctions come in.
You might get another chance to buy the NFT you’re looking for, if someone who currently owns the item you want decides to put it back on the Marketplace by putting it up for auction. However, auction prices are usually higher than the original mint price – so it always helps to stay up to date with the latest NFT news, and get in as early as possible when something you like is about to drop.
